Donegal County Council is appealing to all dog owners to keep their dogs under control and to know where their dogs are at all times.
This appeal comes on foot of a number of incidences and reports of sheep being killed. This is an important time of year for sheep farmers around the county as many sheep are in lamb and are especially vulnerable to attacks by dogs.
If you have concerns about dogs who are not being kept under control please contact the Dog Warden Service at 074 91 25159 from 10am to 2pm Monday to Saturday.
